Fostering of Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability Using ARCS Model and Students’ Motivation

Mathematical critical thinking skills in mathematics learning is an ability that needs to be mastered by every student order support students the process. The purpose of this study was analyzing influence and interaction ARCS model motivation on students' mathematical skills. This research a quasi-experimental design using cluster random sampling as technique. data collection technique used essay test determine MCT questionnaire see motivation. analysis normality test, homogeneity, two-way ANOVA. results have shown there effect ability, no skills, between towards ability. Therefore, can solution fostering abilities.
